August is PA Produce Month
Celebrate PA Produce Month with us this Sunday, August 30!!
Join Russ Bedner for a hayride out to our produce fields to pick-your-own fresh vegetables, (click the link to register….seats are limited). Hayrides leave the greenhouse at 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm.
Susan Marquesen, Master Food Preserver, will also be here to teach all the basics of canning — what to can, how to do it safely, and hot water bath vs. pressure canning.
Melanie has been with the family garden center business since 1999, gaining hands-on experience in nearly every aspect–from cashiering and greenhouse production to bookkeeping, perennial buying, marketing, and store management. Now serving as Finance and Marketing Director, she combines her expertise with a passion for growing the business. She and her husband, Russ, have loved seeing how plants, gardening, and beautiful landscapes bring joy to our community.
