Sales Associate
Be a part of the Team at one of the tri-state area’s biggest and best garden centers. This is both a customer service and labor position, working outdoors in all weather conditions. Part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions are available.
Here is a list of some of the tasks you would perform:
- assist customers with plant selection in the garden center
- restock plant benches from the production greenhouses and from deliveries
- unload trucks with deliveries of plants
- create attractive and educational merchandise displays
- maintain plants to include watering, weeding, pruning, and deadheading
In addition to the above description, qualified candidates will possess these skills:
- plant identification and horticulture knowledge desired, but not required
- flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- technology skills to operate our point of sale system, our scheduling software, and Google applications
- excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, or Seasonal (April – June)
Pay Range:
- $12 – $19 and up

Garden Center Assistant
Here is a list of some of the tasks you would perform:
- assist customers with loading their vehicle with purchases
- returning and keeping shopping carts organized
- assemble carry out boxes and keep the checkout counter supply stocked
- restock plant benches from the production greenhouses and from deliveries
- unload trucks with deliveries of plants
- sweeping floors and under plant benches to maintain a clean store
- weeding by hand or with a weed trimmer
- ability to run a skid loader a plus
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, or Seasonal (April – June)
Pay Range:
- $10 and up, depending on skills and experience

Landscape Foreman
Love working outdoors and creating beautiful landscapes? Looking for an opportunity for career growth and to lead your own landscape crew? Then our Landscape Team has a place for you!
The Landscape Foreman is a working supervisor of one or more crews in the planning, organizing and development of plant and hardscape installations at a job site.
Does the following describe you?
- At least 3+ years of landscape and hardscape experience in a supervisory role.
- Verbal and written communication skills to be an effective team member, to provide excellent customer service, and to maintain job documentation.
- Extensive gardening experience with knowledge of perennial and woody plants, as well as landscape/hardscape design concepts and applications.
- Able to work independently in the comprehension and implementation of a design.
- Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing, and maintaining plants in a landscape, gardening tools and equipment, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
- Ability to drive a skid steer and dump truck.
Compensation Package
Pay range: $20 – $30 hour

Landscape Crew Leader
The Landscape Crew Leader directs crew members in daily operations, including quality control, training, punctuality and safety.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 3+ years of landscape and hardscape experience.
- Verbal and written communication skills to be an effective team member, to provide excellent customer service, and to maintain job documentation.
- Thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment utilized in landscaping work.
- Working knowledge of horticultural practices, annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs.
- Ability to assign and supervise the work of others, provide instruction and leadership.
- Ability to drive a skid steer and dump truck.
Compensation
Pay range: $16 – $19 hour

Landscape Crew
The Landscape Crew prepares the work site; installs plants, landscape lighting, and hardscape features; hauls and spreads topsoil, mulch, stones, and other landscape materials; rakes leaves; and prunes perennials, shrubs and trees.

Landscape Design Assistant
Do you love working outdoors and creating beautiful landscapes?
Are you looking for an opportunity for career growth? Then our Landscape Team has a place for you!Design Assistant Responsibilities:
- Ordering of bulk materials to maintain stock levels.
- Tag, gather, and organize plant materials for each job, make adequate substitutions if necessary.
- Check that SKUs on PO match SKUs on plants. Correct on PO if needed.
- Provide Office Manager with list of materials as they are removed from nursery floor to ensure inventory is correct.
- Maintain plant material that is pulled, water, prune, dead head, etc.
- Assist with unloading trucks, tagging material, and helping on sales floor.
- Order office supplies, magnets, signs, pamphlets, etc as needed.
- Assist crews to mobilize at the start of the day.
- Prepare job folders with all necessary paperwork and photos.
- Answer client inquiries for sales team as needed.
- Coordinate customer service for warranty work with production team.
- Manage client folders for record keeping.
- Attend training, take notes, assist with creation of training manual.
- Help designers with take offs and small designs.
- Assist with scheduling and communication with clients.
- Work with production managers to assist with quality control visits.
- Projects designed by hands, as well as software, is to scale.
Design Assistant Requirements:
Education/Experience
- An understanding of construction as it related to landscape design.
- Horticulture knowledge is essential.
- Valid PA Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Position Requirements
- No fear of labor-intensive work in the outdoors.
- Ability to lift 25lbs or more.
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel, up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat and precipitation).
- Availability to work Overtime and Weekends as necessary.
