Enjoy the View At Home
If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ve probably heard and seen our tagline: Homegrown Happiness.
Recently, while working on new signage for our Landscape Department, one of our marketing partners suggested a unique tagline just for that side of the business. After some brainstorming and collaboration, we landed on one that felt just right: Enjoy the View at Home.
I absolutely love it. It perfectly captures what I wish for each and every one of you—to truly enjoy your view as you pull into your driveway, relax on your porch or patio, or even just glance out the window.
Creating beauty around my home brings me so much joy and peace. When I pull into the driveway, I’m greeted by a vibrant display of sunpatiens planted around our lamppost. When I sit on the porch, I watch hummingbirds flutter around the canna in my container garden. While doing dishes, I look out to the backyard and smile at the butterflies dancing on the perennial phlox I planted last fall. And from my bedroom, I admire the ever-changing seasons through the hedge of oakleaf hydrangeas.
So many views—from both inside and out—and SO. MUCH. JOY. I mean it. I crave these simple, beautiful moments. Here are a few snapshots of the views I’ve been enjoying this week:

Melanie has been with the family garden center business since 1999, gaining hands-on experience in nearly every aspect–from cashiering and greenhouse production to bookkeeping, perennial buying, marketing, and store management. Now serving as Finance and Marketing Director, she combines her expertise with a passion for growing the business. She and her husband, Russ, have loved seeing how plants, gardening, and beautiful landscapes bring joy to our community.
