Every mum you find at Bedner’s started its life right here on our farm. That kind of care shows up in the plant. They have fuller blooms, sturdier stems, and they thrive in Pennsylvania climate.

Our hands-on, homegrown approach runs four generations deep, since 1917. When you take home one of our mums, you’re getting more than fall color for your front porch. You’re getting a healthy plant, grown by a family that’s been doing this the same way for decades. And when you support your local farmers, you’re investing back into our community. 🤝🏻

Fall is the perfect time to visit the farm! A few highlights of what you’ll experience: creating a succulent pumpkin centerpiece, sipping on wine, raising money for a good cause, and crafting with friends. Don’t miss these last events of the season before our last day open on October 24th.

Meet Anna! 👋🌱⁠ ⁠ If you’ve spent much time in our

Meet Anna! 👋🌱⁠

If you’ve spent much time in our greenhouses, there’s a good chance you’ve met Anna. She’s been part of the Bedner’s team for two seasons and is one of the friendly faces helping care for the plants we grow right here at Bedner’s.⁠
⁠
Anna loves learning about all the new plants that come into the greenhouse and sharing her love of reading through our Children’s Storytime program. 📚 She also recently became a Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist, after taking the exam this past winter along with several other members of our team. 🌿⁠
⁠
As a Greenhouse Production Assistant, Anna spends much of her time caring for our homegrown plants. You’ll also find her in the garden center helping shoppers find the right plants for their gardens, or representing Bedner’s at community events.⁠

And if you know Anna, you know she brings plenty of sunshine with her. ☀️ Her smile and positive attitude are contagious!⁠

When she’s not at Bedner’s, Anna loves being outside—hiking, reading, and even taking her cat for walks in the garden. 🐈🌿⁠
