» We grow more than 4000 6″ and 7500 4.5″ geraniums from callused cuttings, and that doesn’t include hanging baskets!
» Callused cuttings are taken from plants, then sit in a high humidity environment where they heal the ‘wound’ by forming a callus.
» Callused cuttings naturally retain moisture better than unrooted cuttings without calluses, and we can plant directly in production growing pots.

Melanie has been with the family garden center business since 1999, gaining hands-on experience in nearly every aspect–from cashiering and greenhouse production to bookkeeping, perennial buying, marketing, and store management. Now serving as Finance and Marketing Director, she combines her expertise with a passion for growing the business. She and her husband, Russ, have loved seeing how plants, gardening, and beautiful landscapes bring joy to our community.
