Geraniums
Geraniums have a long history. They were discovered in South Africa, and go back to the 17th century in Europe. Thomas Jefferson brought them to the US in 1786, and they have been grown and loved here ever since.
Geraniums are an old time favorite that may remind some of gardening with their grandmother or window boxes in Italy. They are also a traditional flower to plant at the cemetery. They are one of the showiest plants for landscape beds and containers, when you really want to make an impact with color.
Because they are so popular, two of our production greenhouses greenhouses are dedicated to geraniums.
