In the Garden
This week we had some replanting to do, thanks to a pesky groundhog. The pansy pots, lettuce and kale that we have planted over the last few weeks was his feast. He ate around the Nemesia though, and didn’t touch it. So we replanted with some warmer season annuals, since the weather forecast is looking pretty good. This time we sprayed with Repels All to keep Mr. Groundhog away. We’ll let you know if it works!
We also put together a bench and placed it in the Nursery pollinator garden. It was a generous gift from a group of friends after we lost our daughter last fall, Julia Rose. She was stillborn on October 23, 2019. It’s been six months since we had to say goodbye to her, but she is still very much a part of our lives. In the Garden we will remember her, honor her, and find a place to heal.
