Did you go to college? If so, where and degree?
Yes, Slippery Rock University with a B.S. in Park and Resource Management and currently working on M.Ed in Environmental Education and M.S. in Park and Resource Management also at Slippery Rock University.
How long have you worked at Bedner’s and/or horticulture industry background?
I have worked at Bedner’s since March 2022. Growing up, I was always around plants as I lived on a fruit farm and my parents operated a greenhouse business. As a child, I was always playing in the potting soil and popping fushia flowers.
Favorite thing about your job:
My absolute favorite thing about my job is that I get to see the enjoyment that plants and flowers bring to people.

Tulip Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera)
Best piece of garden advice:
It is alright to not be a professional! The best part of gardening and working with plants is the adventure and the constant learning!

I have been to 8 countries and 39 states. I have a chocolate lab named Chaco.
