New Year, New Slogan
Spring is here and a new season full of hope is upon us! Lessons learned from last year’s garden inspire this year’s improvements. The energy of new life and possibilities flows all around us.
This week we introduce to you our new slogan– Homegrown Happiness.
What is a slogan, anyway? Here are some definitions that I found– “a war cry”, “a phrase used to express the aim or nature of an organization, or goal to be achieved”.
Homegrown Happiness encompasses who we are at Bedner’s and what we believe–
- we as a company are first and foremost growers of plants and produce. Homegrown is in our DNA.
- we as a company grow with purpose and integrity. We are focused on offering fresh plants and healthy produce to our community and giving back to the people we care about.
- the act of growing beautiful, delicious and healthy things makes our lives better.
- the classes and events we offer help you to grow in pursuing your passions, in lifelong learning, and to do something that enriches your mind, body and spirit.
This is just the tip of the iceberg in the depth of meaning that Homegrown Happiness has for us, and YOU. We are so excited for a great 2021 season, and to the opportunity to serve you with the best in quality plants, products, services and experiences.
Melanie has been with the family garden center business since 1999, gaining hands-on experience in nearly every aspect–from cashiering and greenhouse production to bookkeeping, perennial buying, marketing, and store management. Now serving as Finance and Marketing Director, she combines her expertise with a passion for growing the business. She and her husband, Russ, have loved seeing how plants, gardening, and beautiful landscapes bring joy to our community.
