Our Herb & Vegetable Varieties for 2026

Whether you’re a first-time gardener or you’ve been growing tomatoes for decades, we hope this list gives you something to get excited about. We grow everything from tried-and-true classics like Better Boy and Early Girl to heirloom treasures like Mortgage Lifter, Cherokee Purple, and German Johnson. We also carry a wide selection of herbs, peppers (from sweet to seriously hot), and vegetables to round out any kitchen garden.

Bookmark this page, make your list, and we’ll see you in the greenhouse.

Please note: The best selection will be available by mid-May. Availability changes weekly due to the season, our planting schedule, and crop conditions. If you are looking for something specific and don’t see it in-store, ask a Sales Associate or reach out to us for current availability status. Some of what we grow may not have been included in the list below — so it doesn’t hurt to ask!

What’s an Heirloom Variety?

Heirloom (or “heritage”) varieties were introduced more than 50 years ago and are passed down from generation to generation. They are open-pollinated, which means they are fertilized naturally by bees, birds, butterflies, and other natural pollinators, the wind, or self-pollination. Heirloom fruits, vegetables, and flowers are exact copies of their parent plants because they have not been cross-pollinated with other varieties.
