Perennial Salvia is a garden favorite for being long-blooming, as well as attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to prefer other plants. Salvia are upright, bushy plants that look great planted in groupings of three or more. Cut back spent blooms to encourage re-blooming.
