𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒇𝒇 🔆 Tristan Stayduhar, Retail Manager

Tristan has been with us as Retail Manager for going on three years now. He has a retail background with the luxury retailers Armani and Benetton, as well as landscape design and maintenance experience as an estate gardener. Tristan's love of both retail and plants combined as the perfect segway in his career as the Manager of a garden center. He is mostly self taught, being an avid reader, and is pretty much a walking plant encyclopedia!

Favorite thing about your job:
sharing my passion for plants

Top 3 favorite plants:
too many to name! whatever fascinating thing is currently front of my face! how about top few genera? agave, allium, amorphophallus, helleborus, hippeastrum (mainly species), Jeffersonia, acer, betula, fagus.... list goes on...

Best piece of garden advice:
if you take care of your soil, your soil will take care of your plants

Something interesting:
as my friend's would joke, I'm older than several countries of the world

Interests and hobbies:
gardening, reading, traveling, concerts, would like to start hiking again

A proud accomplishment:
I've nurtured close friendships

Favorite vacation spot:
wherever my passport takes me next

watch: olympics (anything), football, hockey, women's volleyball;
play: couchersize or board/card games with friends
